MARFU Bound – Congratulations Minks

After a hard fought season, The Minks were victorious against CNU which secured the club the second seed in the D3 VRU and qualified for the MARFU tournament. The first round MARFU match (quarterfinals) will be played at and against American University on Saturday, March 31. MARFU tournament semis and finals will be held the weekend of April 14-15 at a site to be announced.

Great job all Fall, but the work now only begins.

W&L Football at HSC Saturday after Rugby Match

After watching the rugby game this weekend at Hampden Sydney, plan to stay at Hampden Sydney and support the W&L football team as they are playing at HSC for the ODAC Championship. Both football teams are undefeated in the conference.

Screaming Minks go 1-1 Parents Weekend

Desptie a disappointing performance on the pith over Parents Weekend, the Screaming Minks redeemed themselves with a solid victory at the post-game social. It has been reported that the parents were amused, yet concerned, at how well the team performed as they took home the gold. As they say, if you don’t win the match you better win the party!

Still in the hunt

With a disappointing performance on the pitch this past Saturday the Minks encountered their first loss of the season. Falling to a record of 4-1, W&L is still in the hunt as we travel to Hampden Sydney this weekend and then close out the Fall season with a home match against a still undefeated Christopher Newport side.

New Game Time for Saturday 10/29

Kickoff for the Saturday’s match against William and Mary has been changed to 11 a.m. The match is still on Fuge Field. The time change was dictated by the University due to the men’s soccer ODAC tournament game at 2 p.m. on Saturday. This was out of our control.
